Museum-Estate of the Decembrist Volkonsky

Visit to the Irkutsk house of the Decembrist prince Sergei Volkonsky, built on the project of his associate Nikolai Bestuzhev and famous for rare exhibits of life of the XVIII century. We will remember one of the most famous heroes of the War of 1812. Walking through his house we will learn about the life of the Decembrists in Siberia and the strength of the will of their faithful companions, one of whom was Maria Volkonskaya, sung by Alexander Pushkin.

Duration: 3 hours.

Visit to the museum: Irkutsk regional historical-memorial museum of the Decembrists, house and manor of S.G.Volkonsky.

The cost of the tour includes:
  • the price of admission to the museum,
  • rent of comfortable transport for 3 hours,
  • service of a qualified guide for 3 hours.
Restriction on age: the excursion is not recommended for persons under the age of 12 years.

The excursion can be combined with a visit to: master class, a concert of classical music or a theatrical performance under the guidance of museum staff (+200/400 rubles).
