The excursion that entirely devoted to the architectural styles presented on the territory of Irkutsk. In the city of contrasts here fantastically intertwined elements of Eastern and European cultures. We will see this in both stone and wooden architectural monuments. We will travel from the monumental buildings in the Russian style to the most outstanding buildings of brutalism and modernism. During the trip we will see places, which, as a rule, do not visited in other excursions.
Main Attractions: The Church of the Savior, the Epiphany Cathedral, the Moscow Gate, the City Duma building, the Bazanov’s orphanage, Shubin's House, Gryaznovsky Quarter, Khmelnitsky Quarter, Labor Square, Moscow Compound, Vtorov's Mansion, Fainberg's Mansion, Medvednikov’s Mansion, the house of architect Artyushkov, Our Lady of the Sign nunnery, Pokrovskaya church, alcohol cleaning factory building, Kazan church, the houses of the Decembrists princes Volkonsky and Trubetskoy, Irkutsk Arbat (Uritskogo street), the Grand Hotel, the Officers' Club building, the Children's World buildin, the former Makushin and Posokhin printing house, the East Siberian Railway Administration building, Irkutsk Drama Theater, Butin’s mansion, Rassushin’s mansion, Dudorovsky’s mansion, Saint Charalambos church, Trinity church, temple-rotunda of Gregory of Neo-Caesarea, the brewery of Belogolovaya building.
